Half Birthday can collect account name, email, securely hashed password, and birthdays or nicknames you choose to save. The browser-only tracker also stores information locally on your device until you choose to import it. We use saved dates to display your celebrations and, only when you enable reminders and verify your email, to send you reminders. We do not send messages directly to people whose birthdays you save.
We use technical session cookies for login and security. Our hosting provider may process server logs and backups. You can export or delete your account from your dashboard. Backup retention and support contact details must be finalized before launch.
Do not enter children's full names or dates without appropriate authority. This service is intended for adults managing celebrations, not direct registration by children under 13.
To be completed before launch: legal entity, contact email, retention periods, hosting/subprocessor list, applicable privacy rights, international transfers, and marketing/cookie disclosures.
